Hinchy joined us in the summer from Malew and was quick to point out his name is Hinchliffe not Hinchcliffe, so there you have it.

Rumour has it that he is supposedly a defender although as we haven't seen any evidence of this yet in training the best we can do is call him a plumber.

Unsure as to whether he is left or right footed, he himself this is, not us, it is difficult to see where his ideal position would be. Certainly enjoys a meaty tackle and won't ever back out of any challenge, somewhere across the defence it would definitely have to be.

Hinchy is a wily character, certainly not afraid of a yellow card or two, or three, or four, or five and is the man whose name is already written down in the bookings page of each standard notepad issued to any newly qualified referee.
