Alex made a return to the club part way through last season on a surplus transfer from Onchan. Is there anyone we have who hasn't spent some part of their existence at this village club?

He returned at a difficult time with us having no players and found himself thrust into first team action, although you may not have noticed it. A much improved player last season Alex will be looking to remain involved in first team matters this time around.

He's played in midfield, full back, wide midfield, infact in quite a number of positions. We haven't been able to clarify whether this is down to his knack of adaptability as a utility man or because he can't perform in the first one he finds himself asked to. Guess we'll have to wait and see what happens I suppose.
